Belief in reality is an act of conscious faith.

Belief, faith and delusion are interrelated. The key to Napoleon Hill’s assertion is conception. Belief only requires faith, but can be a delusion, a fool’s reality. Much research and study is required to truly conceive of a reality.

We craft reality with the scientific method, critical thinking and scrupulous observation.

There is a reality called shared common reality. It can be a combination of myth, legend and conspiracy. It is easy to get swept up in a communal truth and tribal reality.
This is not to say that consciousness is reduced by shared common reality. Creating a common understanding of external events, people, and objects is crucial for navigating and succeeding in your world.

Virtual Reality has the potential of allowing the user to create imaginary reality from thought. The open mind juxtaposes VR with actual reality making actual reality hyper real. Even though VR is a spacial illusion it truly exists in the heart and soul of the mind.
Spacial illusion is a tweaking of one’s environment. As humans we bring our sense of reality with us into new environments. It is why we can adapt and thrive in the unknown.

I am not afraid of stepping through the door of an airplane. It is a portal from the reality of a gravity based environment into a reality of weightlessness where I can fly.

Another type of reality is Artificial Intelligence. It is a view into the past. AI is a time illusion. It collects thoughts from the past, mashes it up into an idea which it presents in the present, but is not unique. As a point of reference AI is useful, but has the potential to brainwash, manipulate and conform its users. Consciousness takes this data and customizes it into the individual’s reality.

No matter what your senses tell you, be conscious and centered regardless of what is happening around you. Apply your faith, beliefs, knowledge and expectations of your consciousness to your reality and you will exist.
