Episode #874

When I was at Servite High School,
my English teacher was Mr. Dennis Watson.
Mr. Watson prepared me for a life of communication, introducing me to modern literature, grammar, and a love of writing.
More than 50 years later, Dennis Watson helped form a writer’s group of my fellow classmates. Writers Anonymous (WAnon) has molded my writing skills. We soon found out that Dennis was writing a novel. The name of the novel is “A Death in Home Park” by Den Watson. It is now available in paperback and Kindle ebook on Amazon.
This is a book that you want to read. Click on the cover picture above or HERE to read the first few chapters and buy the book on Amazon. Or search Amazon for “A Death In Home Park by Den Watson.”

What do the homeless have to do to stay alive?
“A Death in Home Park” is a story about Los Angeles, a city of 4 million people, 46,000 of them homeless. Mayor Kate Tenor has an out-of-the-box solution to the problem that’s so outrageous she has to keep it a secret. But now a dead body has shown up on her doorstep and spoils the grand opening. With more homeless people arriving every day, billions of dollars are being spent without success.
What could Kate’s crazy solution possibly be?
Because of the publishing experience I have with my own books, I volunteered to format and help publish Dennis’s book. This was one of those rare opportunities when the student becomes the teacher. Other members of WAnon also helped with the editing and proofreading.
It was an honor and a privilege to help bring “A Death in Home Park” to life.
Now it is your turn to buy his book.
